Janakkala

Janakkala is a municipality in Tavastia Proper.

Janakkala is a fast-growing rural municipality located around 95 km north of Helsinki and around 16 km southeast of Hämeenlinna. Its two largest urban areas are Turenki, the administrative centre of the municipality, and Tervakoski.

Trains from Helsinki and Hämeenlinna stop at the 60.918224.63831 Turenki railway station.

The most direct connection to the centre of Janakkala from both Helsinki and Hämeenlinna is to travel along Highway 3 (E12).
