Lancieux

Lancieux is a small town in the Côtes-d'Armor.

Walk Autour de Lancieux, this is a pleasant circuit walk that takes you along the western border of Lancieux (following the GR34 long-distance hiking trail), past a string of bays, through some peaceful countryside and a few quiet roads, then in the estuary of the river Frémur and back to the town centre. An easy walk that should take between two and three hours. The route is signposted in places (on yellow fence posts), but there are reasonably long stretches without sign posting, so it may be wise to use the GPX route.

There's a weekly market that runs on Tuesday mornings on Rue de Poncel, it can get quite busy. Items sold include clothes, cookware, souvenirs, rotisserie chicken, Japanese food from stalls, fruit and vegetables, cheese, saucisson, etc. Ideally, bring cash.
