Le Roy is a town in Genesee County, New York. It contains the village of Le Roy and the hamlets of Fort Hill and Lime Rock.

[edit | edit source]Le Roy is located along Interstate 90 (the New York State Thruway), near the western terminus of Interstate 490 (an auxiliary freeway that heads into the city of Rochester). From I-90, exit on to I-490 (exit #47) and then take the first exit (NY Route 19) to reach Le Roy.

A museum devoted to the Jell-O brand gelatin dessert. Housed in the former Union Free School, which was built in 1898. $4.50 adults, $1.50 children 6-11, free for children under 6.
