Lindley is a small town in Stueben County, New York. It is just outside of the county's largest city, Corning. It is home to about 2,000 people (census, 1 April 2020)

[edit | edit source]There is no public transportation in Lindley, and the area is spread over a large distance with some steppe inclines. Private cars should be used.

[edit | edit source]The Appalachian Mountain Range runs through Lindley, and provides for gorgeous views, especially during the fall.

[edit | edit source]- Tioga River: There is a small gravel boat launch and beach at the intersection of Indian Hills Road and Maynard Road. Next to the beach is a small swimming hole and a rock outcrop to jump from. There is also plentiful fishing, including creek chubs, smallmouth and largemouth bass, and carp.
