Get in

[edit | edit source]

Magallanes is connected to Metro Manila by buses from Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) and Lawton. There are also jeepneys and tricycles connecting the town with General Emilio Aguinaldo. However, as Magallanes is at the sparsely-populated southwestern region of Cavite, services are not that frequent. There is also a road connection from Maragondon, as well as from Tagaytay via Alfonso.

Get around

[edit | edit source]

Tricycles are the most common form of public transportation within town, but due to the rugged terrain, a 4WD, motorcycle or any other vehicle suitable for such landscapes is recommended. Some destinations are accessible through hiking.

Stay safe

During times of inclement weather, especially during the rainy season, most natural swimming spots are closed due to the risk of flash floods. In any case, the waters aren't fit for swimming during those instances, as they tend to become heavily colored and contaminated with brown sediment.
