Mangatarem is in Pangasinan, Philippines.
Understand
[edit | edit source]The municipality was named from the Ilocano words of "mango and oyster". It forms the triboundary between Pangasinan, Tarlac and Zambales provinces.
It is home to about 80,000 people (census, 1 July 2024) 
Get in
[edit | edit source]Mangatarem is on the Romulo Highway, which connects Tarlac City with Pangasinan's capital, Lingayen. Construction is also ongoing since the 2020s on a highway that would link Mangatarem with the municipality of Santa Cruz in Zambales province.
There is a bus stop downtown.

You can get around by tricycle, which is a common mode of transportation for short distances.
