Aurangabad Caves - 1 Ajanta — famous for its depictions of the stories of Buddhism, including various Jataka stories, different events during Buddha's life, and the contemporary social life.
- 2 Ellora — famous for its caves of three religions, a total of 30 caves are divided into Buddhist, Hindu and Jain caves. Ellora is also the abode of Grishneshwar, the 12th Jyotirlingas in India.
