Nonza is a village in Corsica.
Understand

Get in
[edit | edit source]Nonza is on the Western shore of Cap Corse, on D80, the road along the cape's western coast. The traffic is fairly dense.
Get around

The town is very small so you are advised to walk. Be careful as the town is situated quite high above the shoreline.
See
[edit | edit source]The Genovese tower is a nice landmark. The Citadel around it offers an amazing view towards the Desert des Agriates. The church of Nonza is small but cute, especially nice at sundown.
Do
[edit | edit source]Walk around, eat something typically Corsican or just enjoy the view from the tower.
Nonza Beach is beautiful as seen from the citadel, but swimming is prohibited due to strong currents and high waves.
Buy
[edit | edit source]There are small gift shops as well as charcuteries. Cap Corse wine is also very famous.
Eat
[edit | edit source]Corsican dishes are tasty but expensive. Try them out anyhow.
