Pakwach is a small city of about 17,000 people in Nebbi, eastern Uganda. It is a regional transport and commercial center.

Get in
[edit | edit source]It's in NE Uganda on the west bank of Albert Nile at the end of the British railway line that ran from Mombasa (now abandoned). Murchison Falls National Park is across the Nile from the town. 6-hour bus ride from Kampala. There are also buses from Gulu and Arua.
Flights from Entebbe to Arua (2 hours' drive from Pakwach) are daily with Eagle Air.
