It is reached by a bus ride from Camaguey that lasts 1 hr 30 min.

The beach is usually clean and cool, since it is made from limestone sand.

  • Diving The diving is very good and the company, Shark's friend, is very professional. The equipment is recent. The reef is 1.8 miles off shore. There are 34 dive sites. One of the sites visits a wreck where there are 3 bull sharks that are fed and that have been visited for the last 9 years.
  • Horseback riding on the beach is very pleasant and professional.

Drink

You can get a beer for ~US$1.15 and rhum for $4. The discos that allow Cubans are very lively.
