Pozuzo

Pozuzo is in Peru.

Pozuzo is 823 meters above sea level on Rio Hauncabamba. There is local Austrian-German heritage, more so than in Oxapampa, although knowledge of German language is declining here, too.

By microbus from Oxapampa. During the wet season, the road is occasionally closed.

• Climb the mountain until you reach the Christian cross. In the same path are some waterfalls.

There are some restaurants around, serving German-Peruvian fusion cuisine.

Local German beers include Schaus, Dörcher, Bärtl and Weisener Bär.
