San Fernando is a municipality which is part of Metro Cebu, on the coast south of Cebu City.

Despite being part of the Metro Cebu region of Cebu, San Fernando is more of a country area than the developed area to the north of it. Population was about 66,000 in the 2015 census.

The town is on the coastal highway that goes all around Cebu Island. The usual route to it is by road from Cebu City. Bus from Cebu south terminal and Dumaguete.
