[edit | edit source]- 1 Santa Giusta cathedral. A Romanesque-style cathedral dating back to the 12th century, built almost entirely of sandstone quarried in the Sinis area. Inside, there is an underground crypt constructed entirely of stone.
- 2 Saint Severa church (Santa Severa). A Romanesque church dating back to the 17th century. In 1985, it underwent a major restoration project to halt its deterioration. The work involved removing the plaster from the façade, thereby revealing the original squared light-colored sandstone blocks.
- 3 Roman bridge of Rio Palmas. Dating back to the Roman era and built with trachyte blocks.
- 4 Santa Giusta Lagoon. Home for numerous species of waterbirds, including pink flamingos, grey herons, and coots.

[edit | edit source]- 1 Is Fassonis Regatta (Santa Giusta Lagoon). In August. Competitions are held using the distinctive traditional Is Fassonis boats—crafted from marsh grasses—whose shape and construction technique hark back to ancient origins, possibly dating as far back as the Phoenicians.
