Get in

[edit | edit source]

If you fly into this region, you may want to fly into Omaha, which is just across the border to the west.

If you're driving, Interstate 29 runs along the western border of the state, and Interstate 80 runs east and west through this region.

Get around

[edit | edit source]
  • Albert the Bull, in Audubon, is the world's largest bull statue. He gazes at drivers as they "mooooove" north on Highway 71. Worth a stop and a photo op.

This region travel guide to Southwest Iowa is an outline and may need more content. It has a template, but there is not enough information present. If there are Cities and Other destinations listed, they may not all be at usable status or there may not be a valid regional structure and a "Get in" section describing all of the typical ways to get here.
