Trulli Elsheim

Although there are remains to the castle in Stadecken they are very difficult to see as more recent houses are build into the original walls and access is private.

  • Trullo (On the hill in the vines above Elsheim). Round building, built in the early 1900s and influenced by the Apulian dry stone huts.
Elftausend Maegde Tower
  • Elftausend Mägde Mühle. Remains of a 15th century customs tower and bridge.

With over 30 "Winzer" in the village, plenty of opportunity to buy some good wine.
