Trikala region is in Greece. The main tourist destinations are Meteora and the city of Kalambaka, the city of Trikala, the city of Pyli with its unique bridges and monasteries, the traditional settlements of the Pyli mountain range, as well as the ski resort that operates in Pertouli. Meteora is considered one of the most important monuments in the world. It is protected by UNESCO and is a World Heritage Site and the second most important monastic center in Greece, after Mount Athos.
