DeutschTroy is a town in Montana of the United States. With its scenic beauty, Troy is a great place for outdoor recreation. There are hiking trails, snowmobiling in the winter months, camping, nature trails, boating or rafting on the Kootenai river, bird watching, and plenty of fishing year round. In 2020, it had about 800 residents.

It is near the north end of Montana Highway 56 (MT-56), traveling from MT-200.

[edit | edit source]- 1 Kootenai Falls & Swinging Bridge (east on US-2 to mile marker 21; it is a half-mile walk to the falls). The largest undammed falls in the state of Montana. Free.
- 2 Ross Creek Cedar Grove (4 miles off of Bull Lake Rd / MT-56). 100-acre ancient grove of western red cedars with self-guided nature trail loop.
- 3 City Hall, 301 E Kootenai. Teddy Roosevelt's initials can be found on the side of the building.

- Lake Creek, 8890 Lower Lake Creek Rd (south on Lake Creek Rd). A beautiful stream, flowing from Bull Lake in the south to the Kootenai, with epic trout fishing. Year round.

- 3 Timber Beast Disc Golf Course, 141 St Regis Haul Rd, ☏ +1 406-295-4322. An 18 hole course especially good for intermediate players, but fun for any level. Map at start and clearly marked holes. In June the town holds a tournament at the course. Free.
