Ulhasnagar

Ulhasnagar (उल्हासनगर Ulhāsnagar) is a suburb near Thane, in the North Konkan region of western Maharashtra. The town is known for its significant Sindhi refugees since the partition of India in 1947, and there have been calls by the Sindhis to rename it Sindhunagar.
