Uluberia (উলুবেড়িয়া Ulubeṛiẏā) is a sleepy industrial town in the Howrah district of West Bengal, at the western bank of the Hooghly River. Uluberia is a delightful place for weekend visitors, with riverside views and a popular Kali temple.

[edit | edit source]1 Uluberia South Eastern is the main station serving the town. However, 2 Phuleswar South Eastern is closer to the riverside and the Kali temple. Three-wheelers like autos and totos are available from both stations.
By car
[edit | edit source]It takes about 30 km (19 mi) to reach Uluberia from Kolkata via Vidyasagar Setu, Kona Expy and NH 16.
By ferry

[edit | edit source]- 1 Anandamoyee Kali temple (আনন্দময়ী কালীবাড়ি Anandamaẏī Kālībāṛi). There's a huge car park opposite the main gate, although it is closed during festivals to facilitate the devotees.
