Umingan

Located at the foot of the Caraballo Mountains, it is at the southeasternmost part of Pangasinan.  It borders the Nueva Ecija towns of Lupao on the east and Cuyapo on the south, and Balungao in Pangasinan on the west.

Most of the town's population are descendants of the Ilocanos.

Umingan is at a crossroads leading to northeastern Pangasinan, northern Nueva Ecija and western Pangasinan. From the west, Rosales-Umingan Road becomes Umingan-San Quintin Road past the junction with San Jose-Umingan Road at the public market. Buses heading to Cagayan Valley pass by Umingan from Rosales on its way to San Jose in Nueva Ecija.
