Hello Khan994baba! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you are a Wikipedian then you may notice some differences in policies and the style of our articles. These include:
- NPOV → be fair (not quite the same thing!)
- be bold → plunge forward
- Village pump → travellers' pub
- External links → We do not use a separate external links section, but incorporate primary links only into the text itself.
- sandbox → graffiti wall
- stub notes → Article status notes
It may also be very useful for you to check out Wikivoyage:Welcome, Wikipedians. If you need help, take a look at Wikivoyage:Help, or else post a message in the travellers' pub or on my talk page. Thanks for contributing!
I've reverted your edit to Bakhri ahmad khan; please do not remove copyvio notices. You may not create articles with copied content, not even if it's copied from Wikipedia. Also, Wikivoyage is a travel guide, not an encyclopedia so encyclopedic content is not very useful to have here anyway. Plus, we have a different manual of style too. - Hi there, and welcome. Considering the copyright violation, I've speedy-deleted the page for Bakhri Ahmad Khan, and created a redirect. Keep in mind that this is a travel guide, and useful information is about attractions, transportation and places to eat and sleep rather than about locally well-known residents or union councils. If you have read Wikivoyage:What's an article and still think there is enough to fill a travel guide article, I'd suggest you make a start in your userspace, e.g. on User:Khan994baba/Bakhri Ahmad Khan. If the article is sufficiently developed, we can move it to the main space. Please do not add any images of people. Thanks! JuliasTravels (talk) 22:51, 28 November 2015 (UTC)
