Understand

[edit | edit source]

The Western part of Vienna reaches up to the hilly forest of the Wienerwald (which used to be the imperial hunting ground and hence wasn't cut) and contains very diversified districts. From the mixed urban area Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus (15) to the newly hyped and multicultural Ottakring (16) to the upper class Döbling (19) on the adjacent side of the Danube famous for its vineyards, 19th-century villas, working class history and architecture, as well as its upper-class neighbourhoods.
