Villarreal

Villarreal (Valencian: Vila-real) is a city of 51,000 people (2018) in Castellón province in Spain. It is home of the famous Villarreal CF football club. It is a place to enjoy nature, with many hiking possibilities in the Protected Landscape of the Millars Mouth.

• Termet de la Mare de Déu de Gràcia. The Termet houses a hermitage with a baroque flavour dedicated to the Virgen de Gracia, the patron saint, together with San Pascual Baylón, of Vila-real. • Football: Villareal CF play soccer in La Liga, Spain's top tier. Their home ground Estadio de la Cerámica (capacity 23,500) is just north of city centre. The women's team play in Liga F (their top tier) at the training ground west edge of the city.
