Wenchi

Wenchi is a town in the Bono Region in the middle-belt of Ghana. Wenchi had a population of about 39,000 people in 2013.

Wenchi is the capital of the Wenchi Municipal district.

Wenchi is approximately 30 km north of Techiman on the main Techiman-Upper East road, and about 50 km east of the Côte d'Ivoire border.

Wenchi is connected by road to the towns of Techiman and Sunyani, and to Sunyani Airport.
