White Sulphur Springs is in the Smith River Valley of Central Montana, and is the county seat of Meagher County. It is known for its namesake hot springs.

[edit | edit source]White Sulphur Springs is at the intersection of U.S. Highway 12 (US-12) and U.S. Highway 89 (US-89), about an hour-and-a-half east of Helena.

As a small town, there is no public transportation. When adventuring outside of town, be sure you plan for fuel and download maps. Wide open country is great to explore, just don't expect to always have service and amenities.
