The News Expedition is a Wikivoyage Expedition to promote the creation of higher quality news on the Main Page and on Travel news.

• Organic processes that result in high-quality articles do not always work with our news items; rather, the result tends to be uneven news coverage.
• High visibility of the news on the Main Page justifies a bit of extra attention
