Yundum lies south of the capital of Gambia, Banjul, and is situated right next to the international airport of it. It has two parts - Yundum and Old Yundum.

Get in

Tourists can access Yundum through the Banjul International Airport. There are flights from spots such as Dakar, Accra and Casablanca in Africa and Barcelona, Brussels and Manchester in Europe.

At 105 hectares it is one of the smallest (if not the smallest) protected areas in Africa, but it still offers a good introduction to the Gambian wildlife.
