Kabasalan - an old town which used to host a rubber plantation for Goodyear. The former residence of Goodyear's expats was converted into a resort, with overnight accommodations and a swimming pool and bar. Other attractions in the town include a hotspring, beaches, and mountain resorts.

Kabasalan is about 20 kilometers east of Ipil, about 15-20 minutes by bus or jeepney.

By plane

Book a flight via Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines to Zamboanga International Airport. This is the most convenient and closest major gateway (about 110 km from the capital town of Ipil).

By land

From Zamboanga City, head to the Integrated Bus Terminal. Ride a public bus (such as Rural Transit) or a UV Express van heading to Ipil or other neighboring cities
