Šumperk is a town in North Moravia and Silesia in the Czech Republic. It is often called the "Gateway to the Jeseníky Mountains" thanks to its location near the Hrubý Jeseník mountain range. The town has around 25,000 inhabitants and lies about 45 km north of Olomouc.

Šumperk is known for its rich history, well-preserved historic centre and its former importance as a textile industry hub. Because of its architecture inspired by Vienna, the town is sometimes nicknamed “Little Vienna”.

Today, it is a popular destination for tourists interested in nature, hiking, winter sports, and cultural heritage.
