Esposende

Esposende is a town in Portugal's Minho region on the Portuguese Coastal Way trail of the Camino de Santiago. The town has 9,800 inhabitants (2011).

The nearest airport is in Porto. From the airport take the metro, change in Verdes and go to Povoa de Varzim. From there take a bus to Esposende.

Other airports around are in Vigo, Lisbon and Santiago de Compostela.

The town can be easily explored on foot.

If you want to go to the beach of Apúlia from Esposende, take care to take the right bus line. Some buses only go along the country road 2 km away from the beach.
