Juva is a town and municipality in South Savonia.

[edit | edit source]Juva is at the junction of highways 5 (between Mikkeli and Varkaus) and 14 from Savonlinna. In addition regional road 434 connects from Sulkava and Puumala in the southeast, and regional road 459 from Pieksämäki in the northwest.
By bus
[edit | edit source]There are buses to Juva town from Mikkeli, Savonlinna, Sulkava and as far as Helsinki. Buses from Kuopio stop at the highway junction, about 5 km west of Juva town.

[edit | edit source]"Asiointiliikenne" (service transport) is a form of public transport organized by the Municipality of Juva and open to everyone; it is operated using taxis and a minibus.
Within the village center area, rides are provided based on individual requests. The fare is €2.00 per one-way trip.
For trips in the outlying, sparsely populated areas, rides must be booked with the driver by 4:00 PM on the preceding day. The fare is €3.50 per one-way trip (for distances under 15 km) and €5.50 per one-way trip (for distances over 15 km).
