By car

Juva is at the junction of highways 5 (between Mikkeli and Varkaus) and 14 from Savonlinna. In addition regional road 434 connects from Sulkava and Puumala in the southeast, and regional road 459 from Pieksämäki in the northwest.

By bus

There are buses to Juva town from Mikkeli, Savonlinna, Sulkava and as far as Helsinki. Buses from Kuopio stop at the highway junction, about 5 km west of Juva town.
