DeutschKettleman City is a place in Kings County in California's San Joaquin Valley. Due to its position on the I-5 roughly equidistant in time between San Francisco and Los Angeles, it's a typical place for taking a break on the brutal drive across the Central Valley. The settlement, home to about 1,200 people, is about two miles north of the freeway, but the gas, food and lodging are closer to the freeway.

Both Tesla and ElectifyAmerica operate charging stations in Kettleman City.

This "Western"-themed roadside attraction has two restaurants, ice cream shop, wine and cheese tasting, and an extensive gift shop with souvenirs, snacks and road trip supplies. More distinctive are the activities, including an arcade-like shooting range game and panning for gemstones. Makes a good rest stop on a road trip.
