Sarina is a town of 5600 along the Bruce Highway in Central Queensland. It is the largest town along the rather large devoid of the Bruce Highway between Rockhampton and Mackay

Spirit of Queensland services stop by 1 Sarina Station Sarina railway station on Wikipedia at least four times a week between Cairns and Brisbane (Roma St). It is also a request stop on Greyhound Australia's Brisbane–Cairns route.

The town is along the Bruce Highway (A1), 32 km (20 mi) south of Mackay, 64 km (40 mi) north of Carmila and 300 km (190 mi) north of Rockhampton.

  • 1 Sarina Museum, Railway Sq, 1300 622 529 (domestic), . General town museum. Closed until April 2025 due to vandalism.
  • 2 Sarina Sugar Shed, Railway Sq, +61 7 4943 2801. Daily 9AM–4PM. A sugar mill factory and museum with some great sugar and rum tours available. Produce such as rum, ginger beer, ice creams and chutneys are also available. $20 per person.
