Tayug is an agricultural municipality producing commercial crops, livestock, and poultry in Pangasinan. It is home to about 45,000 people (census, 1 July 2024) 
Understand
[edit | edit source]Tayug is a mostly nondescript town in the plains of eastern Pangasinan with a history permeated by the occasional peasant revolt. Apart from the church, there aren’t much major landmarks.
Get in
[edit | edit source]Tayug is along the Nueva Vizcaya-Pangasinan Road. It is also the terminus of roads leading to San Quintin in the southeast and Natividad to the east. Tayug is directly connected to Metro Manila by bus and to Urdaneta via minibus.
