Hello, Air fans! Welcome to Wikivoyage.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines and style, as well as some important information on copyleft and basic stuff like how to edit a page. If you need help, check out Help, or post a message in the travellers' pub. New users are also welcome to post any questions or concerns to the arrivals lounge. If you want some practice editing, please do so on our graffiti wall. If you are familiar with Wikipedia, take a look over some of the differences here. If you want to contribute with information about the place where you live, see Wikivoyage:Welcome, locals. --LukeSkywalker26 (talk) 18:44, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
Your work on Indianapolis
[edit source]Truly fantastic. Thank you. I have put a lot of effort into this historically and I am very motivated to help collaborate with you to make it the best of the best here. If you want to work together on this article, please let me know, just type {{ping|Koavf}} in your response. Keep up the good work, comrade. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 22:37, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
Airport articles
[edit source]Just so you know, we are not in the business of creating articles for every single airport in the world. As a general rule, only airports that are of considerable complexity to navigate and see significant connecting traffic should get their own articles. Smaller airports or those that do not get much connecting traffic should generally be covered in the relevant city article. So as an example, in the U.S., we should have standalone articles for Chicago O'Hare International Airport or Los Angeles International Airport, but not for the airports at Omaha or Buffalo. "Informations"
[edit source]Hello! You've been doing great work translating articles from Italian. I just wanted to let you know that "information" can only be singular in the English language and not plural.
Happy editing. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 18:23, 15 August 2025 (UTC)
Temporary account IP viewer
[edit source]Hello, Air fans.
A recent change now means that all IP addresses are no longer visible to most ordinary users. However, as per WMF policy, any user who has made at least 300 edits with an account older than 6 months may request the temporary account IP viewer (TAIV) permission to view IP addresses of all temporary accounts for up to 90 days. You are receiving this mass message because your account is autopatrolled, or has patroller and/or template editor permissions, and have over 300 edits, and thus are likely eligible to request this permission.
Guidelines surrounding the use of the tool can be found at Wikivoyage:Temporary account IP viewer; if granted, you must also accept the WMF policy in your preferences.
TAIV permissions can be requested at Wikivoyage:Temporary account IP viewer/Requests, or on any admin's talk page.
