Your privacy and use of the Travel Tracker
[edit source]In April, Wikivoyage introduced the Travel Tracker (also known as "My Travel Map") in the user menu at top right. It has recently come to our attention that the initial version of the tool did not make clear that maps created through it are public and are associated with your account. Users who used the tool and published a map may have their map deleted by emailing a request for oversight. We apologize for this matter.

I suggest that you delete the claim that an inactive bureaucrat doesn't have 2-factor security enabled

If you'd instead like to discuss why no-one who might have been able to help make such security possible for someone who isn't a technical whiz to attain did and whether it was wise for the Wikimedia Foundation to restrict a useful position to technical whizzes, thereby depriving some sister sites of their only bureaucrat(s), feel free. But maybe not publicly, and not with me, because I intend this to be a one-way statement and for you to do the right thing and belatedly hold your peace. - According to m:Mandatory two-factor authentication for users with some extended rights, bureaucrat is one of the user groups where using 2FA is mandatory, not optional. Eventually, a maintenance script was run to demote former bureaucrats who did not enable 2FA.
- However, I did remove that claim you mentioned here, not because of your reasoning here, but because it seemed irrelevant to mention.
