Taizhou (Zhejiang)

[edit]

Thank you for your contributions to this article. Here are some ways you can make it better:

  1. As your professor says: "Common error to avoid: you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing but do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name."
  2. Please use section headers as explained in Wikivoyage:Section headers. We do not use the tag to create emphasis.
  3. We do not usually use numbered lists in Wikivoyage, as you did in the "Do" section. Use bullet points instead (●).
  4. I don't understand what your "Traditional culture" paragraph is trying to say. It sounds like it might be important to an anthropologist, but it isn't to an ordinary traveller.

Please make these changes. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 15:02, 25 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Kylo09: I have reverted your edits to Zhuji for the same reason. Ground Zero (talk) 15:25, 25 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Kylo09, Hanyangprofessor2: I will keep doing this as long as you keep repeating your errors. Ground Zero (talk) 15:38, 25 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

Also, Wikivoyage aims to be a travel guide, not an encyclopaedia, so I am removing details about administration and economic development per wv:boring. I gave also removed these details from Hongcun. If you continue to edit in this manner, I will block you from editing. Ground Zero (talk) 15:44, 25 December 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Kylo09: I have blocked you for two hours. I will remove the block if you agree to correct your errors and stop making the same mistakes. Ground Zero (talk) 16:03, 25 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ground Zero I send the following email to the student: "You have been blocked because you keep making the same mistakes. Please read the messages you got at https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/User_talk:Kylo09 and fix the errors you made. Part of the assignment is learning the rules of communities like wiki, following them and working with the volunteers at Wiki. To get your credit approved for our class, your edits have to be accepted by the local reviewers. After you fix your errors, ask the reviewer (Ground Zero) if you'd did so correctly. If he agrees, I will improve your score (deadline for submission of any assignment is 4pm today). Good luck." Piotrus (talk) 01:26, 26 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Kylo09, Hanyangprofessor2: it looks like the student did finally pay attention to the advice above. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 03:40, 26 December 2024 (UTC)Reply
