Bagulin is a town in La Union.

Understand
[edit | edit source]Bagulin is a landlocked municipality established along the Balili River in the triboundary between the provinces of La Union, Ilocos Sur and Benguet. It is a highland town in the Cordillera mountains and has significant Igorot communities. Formerly a part of the Benguet subdistrict of Mountain Province, it was annexed by La Union in 1918.
It is home to about 14,000 people (census, 1 July 2024)
Get in
[edit | edit source]Bagulin is bypassed by La Union's major highways. Instead, it is connected by roads leading to the neighboring municipality of Naguilian, which is along the Naguilian Road leading to Baguio and Bauang, and the provincial capital San Fernando, which is along Manila North Road (Route 2).
There are tricycles connecting Bagulin with Naguilian, which in turn is connected to Bauang by jeepney.
Get around
[edit | edit source]Tricycles are the main form of transportation in town.
