Understand
[edit | edit source]Established in 1969 and named after a local politician, Cabarroguis has been the capital of Quirino since it was established in 1971. Unlike other provincial capitals, it is a mostly quiet place that relies on agriculture, tourism and the presence of bureaucrats in the provincial government complex for its economy.
