[edit source]I am the operator of Burra Motor Inn. We no longer publish the email address currently being restored to this listing as a public contact method.
Travellers can contact us by telephone, or via our current online contact page on our webpage:
https://burramotorinn.com.au/contact-us/
The email address is no longer monitored, so continuing to publish it risks directing travellers to a contact method from which they will receive no response.
I therefore request that the email address not be restored and that our current contact page be used instead.

- @BurraMotorInn: Hi, I've updated your listing accordingly. If the email in question is unmaintained and unmonitored, that's fine to remove it (which I've just done so) – it's only problematic when the email is removed for the sole purpose of reducing spam. - Thank you. We are not familiar with the Wikivoyage platform and were unaware of the comments, edit history and discussion processes when making the earlier edits. My apologies for my ignorance of how the platform works.
- As I am currently blocked from editing the article, could you also please update the description of Burra Motor Inn to:
- "Burra Motor Inn, on the banks of Burra Creek, with 20 modern ground-floor motel rooms. Rooms have private ensuites, heating and cooling, free Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, bar fridges and microwaves. Free on-site parking is available directly in front of most rooms for easy access. Centrally located, a short walk from Burra's shops, cafes, pubs and heritage sites. Can be contacted via email form on website."
- This would also correct the current description, which refers to a restaurant that is presently closed.

- @SHB2000, can we unblock their access to the article so that they can make the edit? One caution, though: this text violates Wikivoyage:Don't tout and needs to be excluded: "Centrally located, a short walk from Burra's shops, cafes, pubs and heritage sites." Just describe the hotel and provide a street address and long/lat WV:Geocoding. Don't state what's it's near, etc. Ikan Kekek (talk) 05:36, 15 September 2026 (UTC)
