[edit]I think this could now be promoted Usable->Guide, but as the main author I'm reluctant to do that myself. If it were promoted, would it then be a good candidate for FTT? Or is it, as I'm inclined to think, too narrow a topic?
Coconut juice is popular in the Philippines. Is that something we should mention here? Do other places have drinks worth mentioning?
I've seen articles (including Travellers'_diarrhea#Eat) warning diarrhea patients off dairy products. Is that valid advice? Does it apply to the more general case of dehydration? Are there exceptions (e.g. I have also seen yoghurt recommended for diarrhea patients.)? Pashley (talk) 23:08, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- No need to avoid dairy in gastro at least in kids. Unless it makes them worse.
- Coconut water is often a reasonable option, especially if no clean water is available. Might need a little extra salt in cholera cases.

- Thanks. I've added coconut water, but am not sure what, if anything, should be said about dairy. Pashley (talk) 14:55, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
- Haven't read the article yet but I definitely think there's FTT potential for an article like this. --SHB (t | c | m) 03:57, 6 January 2025 (UTC)
