Sports
I think we should add the extra cricket stadiums that are there in Mumbai. There is the Brabourne Stadium in Vidharba and DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Gamerboykarl (talk) 11:08, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- What makes the stadiums "extra," and about how often is an interesting event held in them? Do they get a lot of use outside cricket season? Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:21, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes, yes. DY Patil Stadium hosts almost all the Mumbai T20 League matches. Brabourne Stadium acts like a secondary or backup stadium in case Wankhede can't be used for matches. It also hosts Womens Indian Premier League matches.
- DY Patil also served an additional purpose for invitational matches and concerts. Gamerboykarl (talk) 13:42, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
Should I add all these info? Gamerboykarl (talk) 13:42, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sure. Ikan Kekek (talk) 14:59, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- K Gamerboykarl (talk) 15:36, 3 September 2025 (UTC)
- One further point: It's most useful to put templated listings in the relevant district guides. Only summaries and pointers should be in the article for the entire city. Have you looked at any star-rated guides to districted cities like Chicago? I haven't reviewed how sports are dealt with in it lately, but it would be interesting to look at that. Merge or keep?
So I have researched: Are Mumbai and Navi Mumbai the same. My answer was that they are different but are in Maharashtra? I have put the input on sports info in Mumbai. The only stadium in Mumbai should be Wankhede. Can someone look into this matter? Gamerboykarl (talk) 13:35, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- They are separate cities and seperate articles in Wikivoyage. I see no reason to Merge them. Stadiums in Mumbai should be listed in the correct district article for Mumbai. Stadiums in Navi Mumbai should be listed in that article. Ground Zero (talk) 13:50, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- So should I remove the name of the stadium in Navi Mumbai from this article and transfer it? And what about Brabourne? Gamerboykarl (talk) 13:59, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- A stafium should be listed in only one article, the one for the district or city in which it is located. If a listing is in the wrong article, please move it. Ground Zero (talk) 14:14, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
- Sure. I'll do the cleanup. Gamerboykarl (talk) 15:23, 11 September 2025 (UTC)

Inclusion for famous restaurant in 'Eat'
There is a restaurant that has many branches in Mumbai called Achija. It is a pav bhaji restaurant and one of the most popular restaurants in Maharashtra that it is also present in Navi Mumbai. It offers Jain Pav Bhaji as well, so its a multi-religion meal. Apart from Pav Bhaji, it also offers idli, dosa, uttapam and Indian-style pizza.
Should I add all this info?
This question is for anyone to answer. Gamerboykarl (talk) 07:30, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- How many branches? Ikan Kekek (talk) 07:58, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Restaurants in almost all parts of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Gamerboykarl (talk) 08:31, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Your description violates the don't tout guidelines. Make sure to rephrase it. Ikan Kekek (talk) 15:13, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Hm... Ok Gamerboykarl (talk) 17:47, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
- Done. I reverted the edit. Gamerboykarl (talk) 08:03, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- I think you edited out the wrong things. These are the statements that strike me as sounding like touting:
- "The top recommended restaurant to have food at is Achija."
- "So if you're interested in a taste of classic Indian food, Achija is the place for you."
- Saying that it's always bustling and makes very good faloodas is fine. By the way, dishes are not proper nouns and don't get capitalized. Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:35, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Suer. I'll make the changes Gamerboykarl (talk) 10:56, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Do you get why those things read like touting? Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:00, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Maybe because it feels like you're forcing people to do as you say so yeah I get it. Gamerboykarl (talk) 11:03, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- You're not forcing anything; you were just saying Achija was the best restaurant in Mumbai, when you couldn't possibly have tried all the other restaurants, and that it's "the" place for "you", when there are many places. It's fine to say a restaurant is great, or particularly that they make delicious x, y and z, but saying it's the best is problematic. Have a look at Wikivoyage:Words to avoid. Ikan Kekek (talk) 11:13, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
- Yes. I'll 100% check the link. Gamerboykarl (talk) 11:18, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
