Hello, welcome to Wikivoyage, and please have a look at welcome, business owners and don't tout. I detouted your listing as shown here. Thanks.
All the best,

- How many locations do you have? Ikan Kekek (talk) 00:11, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
- According to https://symposiumcafe.com/locations there are twenty locations, regionally. I'm not sure we'd want listings for all twenty as this gets very repetitive, very quickly. K7L (talk) 03:11, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
- K7L, how would you suggest handling this? User:Symposiumcafe started posting non-touty listings and editing touty listings accordingly after reading my first message, so that is appreciated. Perhaps even though there are 20 locations, we should allow them? Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:55, 25 December 2016 (UTC)
- I'd be inclined to list one or two of the locations, but not every location in an entire chain. I'd handled "Jreck Subs", a Watertown (New York)-based regional chain, this way - a brief mention in northern New York and a couple individual-city listings, tops, but not an individual listing for each of the forty locations. Chains can get repetitive and boring rather quickly if every location is identical. K7L (talk) 02:59, 27 December 2016 (UTC)
Symposiumcafe: I see that you have been told about not touting before. Since you've decided to do it again, I'm going to delete all of your contributions. Ground Zero (talk) 02:24, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- I've blocked you from further editing for one day. If you ignore our rule about touting again, the block will be longer, or permanent.

- We are located and have restaurants in 24 different towns, if i list in ajax only, for example someone in the town of Aurora will not see my restaurant in Aurora which is completely different restaurant and different market. I thought the idea is to list Local? My apologies if i misread the intentions of your site. I will refrain from making any more listing requests, have a nice day Symposiumcafe (talk) 03:47, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- Have you read wv:tout? Please read that, and then read what you wrote in those articles. Ground Zero (talk) 03:50, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- That makes sense, thanks for the info! If i read that i would of been more concise with the Description and directions. My main goal was to just list the businesses, appreciate the feedback Symposiumcafe (talk) 03:55, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
- I've removed the block. Please keep in mind that in the Ajax article, we don't have to include "Ajax" in every address. That's obvious. We also don't include the postal code. I doubt that any of your customers will write a letter to request a table reservation or ask what hours a location is open, and put it in the mail, and wait for a reply, so the postal code isn't needed in a travel guide. - ok can i try and resubmit with basic info following your guidelines, removing postal code and 90% of the description, keeping it basic as possible 170.250.204.217 13:08, 12 January 2023 (UTC)
