[edit source]Maybe it's time to consider them, if this area can be neatly divided in two. If so, which ones, and how many blue-linked cities and other destinations in total would be in each one? Ikan Kekek (talk) 21:23, 28 August 2026 (UTC)

- I didn't see your comment sorry. I just observed the high number of cities listed here and plunged forward with the creation of subregions. There were also a few cities in the Ghanaian Northern Plains that didn't have the correct "IsPartOf" classification. Including these missing cities and the other destinations, I counted 22 articles. The split into 4 subregions was based on the current 16 regions of Ghana. Broadly, 4 of the regions come under GNP though the Savannah Region's borders stretches into the Volta Basin so it's not perfect. Gizza (roam) 12:00, 7 September 2026 (UTC)

- I think it's worth eventually revisiting all of the subregions of Ghana to something that reflects official region boundaries (similar to what we did for Nigeria around 5 years ago).
