Listings templates

[edit source]

Wikivoyage uses standardized formats to list attractions and monuments, activities, shops, restaurants, bars and lodgings under the See, Do, Buy, Eat, Drink and Sleep sections respectively. You can click the "edit" tab on any article, and then select the appropriate listing type from the "Listings" section of the edit toolbar, hover your mouse over each icon, and click on the one that is appropriate. Doing so will add a blank listing template to the edit window that can then be filled out.

The See template is shown as a building with columbs (like a Greek temple), the Do template is shown as a person on a bicycle, Buy as a shopping cart, Eat as a knife and fork, Drink as a martini glass, Sleep as a bed, Go as an airplane. Others listings can use the "i" symbol. Ground Zero (talk) 12:05, 7 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Gwangju

[edit source]

@Eunbinjang: Thank you for your contributions to this article.

As your assignment page says: "Common error to avoid: you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing but do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name." That also means you do not include the province and country name.

All of the listings in Gongshan are going to be in Gwangju, so we do not repeat that information in addresses. Please make this correction to the article. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 12:15, 26 October 2026 (UTC)Reply

I am going to block you for a short period to give you a chance to read and understand what I have written. When the block is removed, I ask that you correct your errors at Gwangju, Ulsan, Cheongdo County, Gangneung,Pyeongtaek and Gwangju before making any other edits. It is not the job of others to correct your errors. Ground Zero (talk) 12:59, 26 October 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi Ground Zero,
Thank you for explaining the address formatting rules. I understand now that listing addresses should not repeat the city, province, or country name.
I have already corrected the addresses in the Cheongdo County article. I will review my contributions to the other articles you mentioned and correct any remaining errors as soon as my block expires.
I apologize for the repeated mistakes and for the extra work they caused. I will be more careful to follow the Wikivoyage guidelines in my future edits.
Thank you for your patience.

Hello Ground Zero,
Thank you for your feedback.
I've reviewed my contributions to all five articles you mentioned: Gwangju, Ulsan, Cheongdo County, Gangneung, and Pyeongtaek. I've corrected the listing addresses I added by removing redundant city and province names.
I understand the formatting guidelines now, and I'll be more careful with future edits.
Thank you for your patience!
