Welcome

[edit source]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikivoyage. In the article about Gurye,

  • we don't include "Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do, South Korea" in the addresses of listings, because that is obvious. Your professor explained this on the assignment page;
  • please write prices like this: ₩60, not like this: 60KRW;
  • times should be written like this: 08:00-17:00, not 8AM-5PM; and
  • telephone numbers should include the country code for South Korea, like this: +82 61 452 3055.

Please correct your errors. Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 02:01, 6 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

I've made the corrections you requested. I'll refer to them in future posts. ~2025-27767-44 (talk) 06:53, 8 October 2025 (UTC)Reply

Make sure not to insert useless and repetitive descriptions

[edit source]

I note that in these edits, you have described three supermarkets this way: "It is a supermarket where you can buy a variety of food ingredients." If you have nothing more useful to say, don't add any description at all. That said, I would think a place called Hanaro Mart Gurye Livestock Cooperative Main Branch would sell livestock, so if they don't, are they a meat specialist? A clarification would seem needed. @GAEUNGA: I have reverted these edits because you are making the same errors you have made in the past. I took the time to explain to you how to make your edits in Wikivoyage better, and you have ignored my advice. I won't correct your errors, or explain it to you again. I encourage you to read and understand what Ikan Kekek and I have explained to you, and then make your additions again. Ground Zero (talk) 13:30, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

@GAEUNGA: Don't include 0 when using the international phone code -- see wv:phone. Please correct your errors. Ground Zero (talk) 14:06, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

I have completed the revisions according to the guidelines. I apologize for repeating the same mistakes due to confusion. Based on the points you raised, I have just uploaded the corrected version. Please check it when you have a moment. GAEUNGA (talk) 14:30, 8 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

Wait, I'm not satisfied yet. The description I pointed to now says "It is the largest mart in Gurye, where you can purchase a wide range of food ingredients and livestock products." What is a "livestock product", and why would a traveler be interested? Is it food for cattle? Live cattle? Ikan Kekek (talk) 08:06, 9 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for your feedback. I have revised the text to clarify that various kinds of meat are available. Kindly review the changes at your convenience GAEUNGA (talk) 02:13, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
Much better. Is it only a meat market? Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:14, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
No, it is a mart that sells various food ingredients and different kinds of meat. I have revised it to avoid any misunderstandings GAEUNGA (talk) 03:40, 10 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

I have edited according to the guidelines you provided before, but I honestly don’t know what I have done wrong. Please tell me which part I did wrong. My edits have been reverted multiple times, so I kindly ask you to stop reverting my edits and allow me to make revisions directly. Thank you. GAEUNGA (talk) 04:11, 11 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
These edits make the following errors, which I the same ones that I told you about above:

I apologize for not using consistent Korean won units and for the inconsistent time units. I overlooked this and will correct it. GAEUNGA (talk) 06:14, 12 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
