Welcome
[edit source]Thank you for your edits to Qingdao. Welcome to Wikivoyage. I hope that you'll keep sharing information with fellow travellers through this project.
To help get you started contributing, we've created a tips for new contributors page, full of helpful links about policies and guidelines, style, and basic stuff like how to edit a page.
If you need help, post a question in the Arrivals lounge.
Please review the [User:Hanyangprofessor2/Student assignments advice provided by your professor], and make the necessary corrections to the article:
- "while you should add an address (street, building number, etc.) to your listing, do not repeat the city name. For example, if your listing is in Ansan, the address does not need to contain the city name."
Thank you. Ground Zero (talk) 18:27, 8 September 2026 (UTC)
Why are you making the same mistakes again? I have blocked you for one day so you can take some time to learn about Wikivoyage policies. I recommend reading the page of advice I linked above. Ground Zero (talk) 22:37, 8 September 2026 (UTC)
- Please correct your errors in the Qingdao article before you edit any other articles. It is not the job of someone else to fix your mistakes. Ground Zero (talk) 02:50, 11 September 2026 (UTC)
- I have already modified it.Thank you LIUXUETING1214 (talk) 06:04, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
The "directions" tab
[edit source]@LIUXUETING1214, directions are a parenthetical phrase, not a sentence, let alone more than one. Please fix that. If you want good examples, look at articles in Category:Star articles. Ikan Kekek (talk) 04:35, 18 September 2026 (UTC)
- @LIUXUETING1214: you are making these errors again. Ikan Kekek took the time to explain this to you. Please stop doing this, and go back and correct your own errors. Ground Zero (talk) 23:24, 25 September 2026 (UTC)
- I have corrected the address and directions format in articles. Thank you for your guidance. LIUXUETING1214 (talk) 06:03, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
Feedback on your Jiaozuo edits
[edit source]Hi LIUXUETING1214,
I read your recent edits on the Jiaozuo page, specifically the Maocha Village and Dananpo Village listings.I have a few suggestions:
1. Maocha Village seems to be missing coordinates (lat/long). Adding them will make it show up on the map. Dananpo Village already has them.
2. Both listings have empty "phone" and "hours" fields. If you can't find reliable info, it's fine to leave them blank.
3. The descriptions look neutral, which is good. Just double-check no subjective words like "beautiful" or "must-see" slip in.
4. If either village has a Wikipedia or Wikidata entry, adding those links would make the listings more complete.

- @HANBOWEN1022, thanks for taking the time to read those contributions and offer some feedback! That said, why do you think if something is beautiful, we shouldn't say so? Wikivoyage does not favor bland, neutral language. Please read Wikivoyage:Tone and Wikivoyage:Be fair. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:52, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
- That said, I just reverted the addition of a hotel listing per wv:Don't tout. 1.6 km from a train station is not "adjacent" to it and should not be mentioned, and "9.6/10 user rating" or whatever the exact phrasing was is entirely obscure and nothing to mention, either. Just provide the address and geocoordinates of the hotel and describe it. Don't tout it or its location. Ikan Kekek (talk) 06:59, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
