Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug is a former administrative district of the Russian Federation.
Why does this article exist? Is Agin-Buryat Autonomous Okrug a likely search term? There is no travel information here, and nor will any be added. Ground Zero (talk) 03:42, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

- it merged with Chita Oblast to form Zabaykalsky Krai, as of today, it’s now the Agin-Buryat Okrug. ILoveflags289 (talk) 15:49, 24 December 2025 (UTC)

This disambiguation page distinguishes between Lake Hopatcong (New Jersey) (an article about a town) and Lake Hopatcong (Park), which redlinks and likely fails WV:What is an article. I suggest we delete the disambiguation page and move Lake Hopatcong (New Jersey) to Lake Hopatcong. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 14:01, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Delete per nom. Ground Zero (talk) 15:47, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
- Delete. I haven't been to Lake Hopatcong State Park. It looks nice, and it's not good that we don't have a listing for it. But you'll notice that there is no mention of camping or any sleeping accommodations on the park's page on the New Jersey parks website, so while the listing that's created for the park should have details, the park is not a destination in itself. By the way, its address is in Landing, NJ, so I'm not sure what article its listing should be in, though we don't have a Landing article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:49, 20 December 2025 (UTC)
Done – disambig page deleted, and the NJ article now has its disambiguator removed. //shb (t | c | m) 07:44, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete. Not a destination or travel topic but a factual, encyclopedic page that's not needed. At most, the National Weather Service merits a brief (probably no more than 1 sentence, if that) mention on the United States page with a link. Ikan Kekek (talk) 22:07, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- As the creator, I kind of think now that this would be better on Wikipedia, so you guys can Delete this article. I might try to make something similar that is better suited for Wikivoyage, but in the meantime a deletion can happen to this. ANormalWikiEditor (talk) 16:17, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
- It could be moved to your userspace if that would be more convenient for you. Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:21, 18 January 2026 (UTC)

- Weak keep I could definitely imagine the scenario where someone could use this to understand what weather alerts, etc. actually mean. e.g. I don't know how this works globally, but in America, when you check a location's forecast and there is an X% chance of rain, that doesn't mean X days out of 100 it will rain, but X% of the territory is expected to get rainfall. I didn't know that until I was in my forties (but I am notoriously dumb...). I think this could plausibly be repurposed and moved to a more appropriate title about how to plan around weather events and what it means when you see weather notifications from various authorities. That would involve refactoring a decent amount of this and deleting some of it, but keeping some very practical information that I think someone could put to good use. —Justin (koavf)❤T☮C☺M☯ 22:12, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- We already have Severe weather. If you'd like to create an article that covers weather and weather alerts more broadly, you can, but no individual country's weather service is a suitable topic for an article. Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:33, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete I think this is borderline travel topic, but this is far too complex for Wikivoyage and would be better suited to Wikipedia. //shb (t | c | m) 22:31, 8 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete. The bits that are practical would be much better in Severe weather (and related topics), United States#Climate and United States#Stay safe. While I can envision a Weather in the United States travel topic that includes guidance on using NWS tools and alerts (for example, on a recent trip I did need to learn the difference between a Tornado Watch and a Tornado Warning!), it wouldn't look much like this article. - Delete Not really useful to a traveler. Mrkstvns (talk) 01:40, 9 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete or transwiki if there is a community (perhaps Wikiversity?) that would accept this article. --Comment by Selfie City (talk) (contributions) 03:37, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- Delete or move to "Weather forecasting" and rewrite it to cover similar agencies and their forecasts in other countries. The article is lacking in the practical information for a visitor to the US to get weather forecasts - what radio stations broadcast them (& when), is there an official app etc. AlasdairW (talk) 22:55, 14 January 2026 (UTC)
- (There is in fact a web page, which I use.) Ikan Kekek (talk) 09:53, 18 January 2026 (UTC)
